"IoT Crypto implementations in RIOT OS"
The Internet of Things consists of a zoo of heterogeneous devices, which are connected to each other and constantly process and exchange sensitive data.
This data can be secured by cryptographic mechanisms, for which the support differs widely, ranging from optimized software implementations with no hardware features to powerful accelerators and protected key storage.
In this talk I'll show how we provide uniform access to crypto operations in the IoT operating system RIOT by integrating a system-level crypto interface with interchangeable backends.
