Our first official dinner, Wedding of an Eloped Bride, invites you into an imagined celebration — intimate, whimsical, and just a little bit surreal.

The Story
The Bride: Trang (our co-founder lends her name to the character)

In her late 30s, Trang has lived through a handful of failed romances, always imagining that by now she would have found her life partner, not necessarily with children, but someone to build a home and share a future.
The past two years of first dates and fleeting connections left her drained. And yet, Trang remains a dreamy, imaginative soul beneath a practical facade.

She never planned a wedding in detail — no guest list, no seating chart — only a half-formed, romantic image of an intimate celebration, untethered from rules.

We invite you to step into her dream through this supper.

The Dream: The Elopement
One evening, at a seaside dock, Trang received an unexpected proposal. A kind stranger witnessed the moment and offered her home in a quiet village for a spur-of-the-moment wedding.

With no time to prepare, she gathered ten friendly strangers — villagers, wanderers, and accidental guests — to join her in celebration.

The Night
A sumptuous four-course wedding feast designed for togetherness.
Guests slip between themselves and the roles they may choose to play (e.g., the cool city aunt, the timid cousin, the fisherman uncle, the Catholic nun).

Together, they share a meal, laugh at the absurdity of weddings, and indulge in the fantasy of love stories — real, imagined, and everything in between.

What to Expect
A four-course French-inspired, multicultural menu:
🥗 Greek roasted black figs, courgettes & basil salad
A bright opening — roasted figs and tender courgettes layered with fresh basil and olive oil.
🍅 Vietnamese-style stuffed tomatoes
A nod to small-town home cooking — ripe tomatoes filled with wood ear mushrooms, minced pork, vermicelli, and spring onions.
🥩 Beef Bourguignon with oven potatoes
The heart of the wedding feast — slow-braised, rich, and meant to be shared.
🍮 Flan
A soft closing — light, bittersweet, creamy, and comforting.
🍷 Wine pairing (white/red): one glass per course

No vegan or vegetarian option will be available for this dinner.

📍 Location: Weißensee (M2 tram stop Prenzlauer Promenade/Am Steinberg — exact address shared after RSVP)
🗓 Date: Saturday, November 1
🕖 Time: 7:00–10:00 PM (doors open 7:00, event begins 7:15 sharp)
💶 Contribution: €65 per person (includes full dinner, drinks & experience)
🎨 Theme colors: Lavender, soft golds, and whites — guests are encouraged to dress within the palette.
