BeerJS was great!

Now on to the next one!

KarlsruheJS is back. This time with a talk about how to build apps with Angular 2 by Pascal Precht and a talk about how to do Universal JavaScript properly with ReactJS by Dustin Hoffner.

Abstracts:

Fireside Chat about Angular 2 by Pascal Precht (http://twitter.com/pascalprecht) remotely from Romania via Skype

In this talk we want to take a seat, set up a very cozy virtual fireplace and have a relaxed chat about Angular 2. No migration paths, no comparisons with 1.* versions, just Angular 2. We want to take a closer look at how we can actually use the framework by taking its new concepts and features and integrating them into running examples. On the principle that great stories are always better told by the fireplace.

ReactJS - Universal Javascript (Server-Rendering) by Dustin Hoffner (https://github.com/dustin-H)

ReactJS is among other features well known for its ability to render the entire app on the server and change the existing DOM on the client. In reality this isn’t as easy as advertised by the developers. The React-NodeJS render process doesn’t execute asynchronous AJAX requests. In this talk I want to explain the problem and my solution in form of a library (UniJS (https://github.com/unijs/unijs)) for ReactJS Universal Javascript rendering. I will explain you the idea, the features and how it works.

20 min Talk: Node.js in the Cloud with IBM Bluemix by Harald Uebele (https://twitter.com/Harald_U)

IBM Bluemix is a Cloud platform based on open standards (Cloud Foundry, Docker, Openstack). It allows a developer to create an environment for an application in a very short time. I will give a live demo of Bluemix and its DevOps environment and also go into the catalog of available services in Bluemix.
