Golo Roden & Matthias Wagler: DDD, CQRS, wolkenkit & co. - how to build a semantic backend

Domain-driven design (DDD), CQRS, and event-sourcing go well together. While this may sound simple in theory, implementing them is pretty hard. This is because these concepts are just that: abstract concepts, and not concrete technologies. It’s one thing to understand how they fit each other, but a completely different thing to actually use them in code. Unfortunately, guiding principles are rare, and there are lots of technological challenges that want to be solved. A few years ago the native web (https://www.thenativeweb.io/) was founded to deal with the question of how to make all this more accessible. The answer is wolkenkit, (https://www.wolkenkit.io) an open-source framework written in JavaScript and Node.js, that builds on top of CQRS and event-sourcing, and that uses an event-driven model based on DDD. Matthias Wagler and Golo Roden will explain the concepts behind it, and show how things work.
