***PLEASE JOIN ME today ***-- I'm pretty frantic, getting ready to leave early Thursday a.m. for DC/Inauguration -- but I AM going to make time for this 2nd vigil in support of Robin Long, GI War Resister in the brig here in our backyard. I was honored to be among the Vets, Military Family members and others last month, 2 days before Christmas. BE THERE with us this evening, as well. They provide the signs and candles, but they need YOU. See details following.

Fellow Vets and supporters. Tomorrow is our second vigil at Miramar to free Robin. We expect that press will be there, so we need you to be there also. Please see if you can find an hour or 2 to come support our goal, freedom for Robin Long.

Robin is the first active duty American G.I. Iraq war resister to desert the United States military and seek asylum in Canada.
He was subsequently extradited and turned over to the US Government for prosecution.
He was tried and convicted in a military courts martial, and is currently serving his sentence in the brig at MCAS Miramar.
The next vigil will be held in January:
DATE: Tuesday, January 13th
TIME: 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
PLACE: North Gate to MCAS Miramar
Northwest Corner of Miramar Road & Clayton Drive
