Volunteers still needed for the Portsmouth Criterium

Hello everyone every year I volunteer at the Portsmouth Criterium which is a really fun event to attend especially if you are a fan of the pro-cycling circuit.  They still need volunteers to help out.  Here is the contact info in case you are interested. The PORTSMOUTH CRITERIUM Arrives In Downtown Portsmouth Sept. 9th!  We are still in need of volunteers to help throughout the day for the Portsmouth Criterium. As a thank you for your time you will get:                         an event t-shirt, entry into the best volunteer party in town and a chance to walk away with some great raffle prizes! To register, just email me, Melissa Grenier at [address removed],  with your choice of positions and desired times.  If you have already signed up, THANK YOU :)  Also, please email me if you would like to be taken off of this email list The volunteer positions and shifts available are: Friday Sept. 7th: Flyering (5 -7pm): Tape meters and barricades with No Parking signs to prep the public for this fantastic weekend Saturday Sept. 8th: Hay bales (9am): Drive trucks and load up hundreds of hay bales - yee-ha! Flyering(11 or 3pm): Re-check meters and put up additional flyer's as needed Sunday Sept. 9th: Race Course Set-up (7:30-10:30): Work with logistics coordinators to place hay bales, put up signs, sweep course Race Route Marshal (10:30-2pm and/or 1:30-5pm): Help direct and protect pedestrians around the race course, especially from crossing when the racers are coming through! Kids Race Assistants (7:30-Noon): Work assisting Kids Race Coordinator Scott B. on registration, escorting, helmet/bike checks, etc for Kids Race.
