The Befriend Social Network is your place to find fun things to do with new people in Perth. You’ll be welcomed by our Hosts who look forward to greeting you with a friendly face. This is the place to find friends and connect with others in your area who are looking to meet new people. Befriend Inc. have supported the running of social groups that welcome all adults in Perth since 2012.

Join Befriend Host Arlene & friends at The John Wellard Community Centre in Wellard every Thursday morning, through school term as they lead everyone in song & strum for this fun Ukulele Play-a-long Session starting at 9.30am All levels of experience are welcome. For anyone who is just interested in coming along to see what all the fun is about, we have a limited number of ukulele's on hand for you to use during the session. We ask everyone to have their ukes tuned prior to the session every Thursday @ 9.30am All songsheets are projected onto a screen for everyone to see. You are welcome to bring along some morning tea to share if you so wish.
FREE EVENT - EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN US
Please note: If you are unwell or showing any flu like symptoms we ask you not to attend and look forward to catching up at another time. We also request when attending any Befriend event during COVID-19 alerts to please ensure you have your own hand wash or antiseptic wipes on hand and we will need attendees to sign in for the event in case of necessary followup. Follow recommended personal hygiene & safe social distancing practices and it will be appreciated as we are all volunteers, that everyone attending helps to the best of their ability with the setting up, packing down and cleaning requirements of the current COVID-19 Safety Plans applicable to the facilities we attend.

Your invited to join Befriend Host Jeanne & friends on Tuesday and / or Thursday mornings @ The Dome in Waikiki to play Canasta or Rummikub.
No matter what your skill level is for these games you are welcome to join us and we can either show you how to play or just be ready to join in the challenge of the game with others.
Look for the Yellow Befriend Flag and you'll find us enjoying a cuppa, good conversation & of course a game or two!
