What we’re about
The BrisVegan meetup is a social group for like-minded people to come together in Magandjin (Brisbane) to share food, ideas, knowledge and create community.
You don't have to be vegan to join but please only order vegan food at meetups and bring vegan suitable dishes to pot lucks etc. We would love to introduce you to how great vegan food can be!

Bonus meetup dinner @ Danbo Labo, South Brisbane
Ramen Danbo, 52, Merivale St, South Brisbane, AUDid you know that there is a new Vegan ramen popup in South Brisbane?
Ramen Danbo, a global Japanese ramen chain, has opened Danbo Labo in South Brisbane, just across the road from the Exhibition Centre. They will be trialling different experimental menus and the first of these is fully vegan!
In order to experience and encourage this while it's there, we are having an extra bonus social dinner meetup this month.
As always, we welcome everyone, vegan or otherwise, and it's OK to RSVP late, change your RSVP and so on (but please don't RSVP only to "support the event").
If anyone is keen for more chats, we could also head down to the nearby Burrow afterwards, but we'll decide on the night.

Vegan middle-level boardgames @ Loving Hut - 3rd Saturday each month
Loving Hut Brisbane, 1420 Logan Rd, Mount Gravatt, QL, AUWe meet up on the 3rd Saturday each month for some delicious food and to play some medium+ difficulty boardgames in The Loving Hut, Mt Gravatt event space!
The games change, but examples of what we often play include Meadow, Wingspan, Sagrada, Catan, Carcassonne, Harmonies and Splendor. These are slightly more involved games than the ones we play at our other events. This means the games usually take 30-90 minutes each. We'll do our best to get you started as always.
If you want to bring your own games to play, we are very happy for you to join us. You can help others learn them by posting the game and a how-to-play video in the comments.
The Loving Hut are letting us use this space for free, so we want attendees to support them in return. The Loving Hut offers a wide range of food and snack options and is 100% vegan. Check out their menu and details.
This is a drop in, so come and go anytime you like.
