What we’re about
The BrisVegan meetup is a social group for like-minded people to come together to share food, ideas, knowledge and create community.
You don't have to be vegan to join but please only order vegan food at meetups and bring vegan suitable dishes to pot lucks etc. We would love to introduce you to how great vegan food can be!
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Petit boardgames @ NetherworldNetherworld, Fortitude Valley
Come along and have fun playing (new) board games, arcade and pinball machines, chilling and relaxing from your day and/or simply having conversations with other people from the group. Netherworld has a HUGE selection of boardgames, so there is no need to bring any.
RSVPs are even looser than normal and you can come earlier and leave anytime, Netherworld is open from 12:00-23:00.
Unfortunately, we cannot book tables in advance, so the more people who can be there early, the easier it will be to get table(s).
If we can't get enough spaces you might be leaning up against the bar.Everyone is welcome, but if you are not vegan (even vegetarian), and you are attending this event, please order vegan food to respect the mission of the group and other members. Luckily at Netherworld this couldn't be easier, as the food is "vegan by default". https://www.netherworldarcade.com/food/
Look forward to seeing you!
- Vegan middleweight boardgames @ Loving HutLoving Hut Brisbane, Mount Gravatt
We'll be meeting up for some delicious food and to play some more involved boardgames in the The Loving Hut, Mt Gravatt event space!
The Loving Hut are letting us use this space for free, so we want attendees to support them in return. The Loving Hut offers a wide range of food and snack options and is 100% vegan. Check out their menu and details.
Follow the comments for some games we will be playing. These are more involved games than some of the ones we play at our Vega event, so if they are unfamiliar to you we recommend watching the how-to-play videos in the comments. To get a really good head start you can also usually find game walk-through videos online.
If you want to bring your own games, we are very happy for you to join us and you can post them in the comments, ideally with a how-to-play video.
