Turn right and walk all the way to SOE SR 5.2 (main room).

Turn left and walk all the way for SOE SR 5.1 (live streaming room).
*To cater to a larger crowd, we will setup a live stream room at SMU SOE 5-1 (same floor) and online via https://www.periscope.tv/ . Do come early if you want to be in the main room, as we will move people to the live stream room once main room is full.

• 1.15pm - 2pm: Kaggle Otto Challenge - How we achieved 85th out of 3,514 and what we learnt by Eugene Yan & Wang Weimin.
Synopsis: Kaggle is an online predictive model competition platform with more than 300k members and counting. For this talk, two of our members will share their experience in one of the most population Kaggle competitions and what they learnt.
• 2.15pm - 3pm: DataScience SG social network analysis by Michael Ng
• 3pm - 3.20pm: Association Rules on Dengue Locations by Rufeng Xie. Visualization: http://outbreak.sgcharts.com/
Rufeng will talk about his experience in mining association rules from historical dengue data in Singapore. He will investigate both the geospatial and temporal relationships in his analysis.
