Tools for managing stress and feeling more balanced.
Sarah will introduce us to a few simple techniques that can help combat stress and increase resilience as we head into the new year. She’ll be drawing on her own experience of burnout but also her professional training in a wellbeing method called sophrology. Widely used across Europe by everyone from Olympians to business leaders, sophrology is a practical mental training method that blends Western medical science and Eastern traditions like yoga. It offers accessible tools that can help reduce stress, improve sleep and increase performance. Sarah will explain a little of the science behind it - but also encourage us to give it a go!
👤 - Sara Prag - Wellbeing coach - helping bring balance to busy minds
Sarah spent 20 years developing and managing digital products, services and teams in places like eBay, the BBC and the Government Digital Service before a period of severe burnout forced her to change direction. Alongside working as a consultant and coach she discovered a wellbeing method called sophrology that impressed her so much she decided to retrain and is now a professional sophrologist. She’s on a mission to take these simple pragmatic techniques into the workplace, giving people tools they can use to manage stress, build confidence and improve their overall wellbeing.
Goal Setting Workshop

With end-to-end expertise, we can take your ideas from concept to working software. Our Bristol-based team love to be challenged with complex problems and to apply their creative knowledge to come up with a tailored solution.
Founded in 2012 by wife and husband team Emily and Ric Hill, we have established ourselves firmly on the Bristol tech scene, working with businesses in the South West, and beyond. We are proud to be part of the local technical community; our name Ghyston comes from a mythological character from Bristol folklore - the industrious giant who created the Avon gorge!
We put a huge amount of effort into recruiting bright, inquisitive people and train most of our developers and project managers from scratch in house. As a result, we have a close-knit team who work well together and are passionate about creating exceptional outcomes for our clients. https://www.ghyston.com/
