Social sketching for serenity

Come to this hill-top bush park with river views for a simple drawing art activity.
Some of the most well known artists did not draw accurately but created their interpretation using shapes and colour.
We will focus on shape and patterns and how we can make this look interesting.
Art principles can be learnt and skills can be practiced!
Note this is not a professional art workshop but more about connecting and having a go. I find drawing and being out in nature relaxing!

5:30 We’ll meet and get to know each other a little. I’ll give some drawing examples and ideas of what to focus on.
6:00 Go off in small groups to explore the paths through the bush. Follow me if you’d like more guidance.
6:45 We’ll meet back to share.
7:00 Continue to chat, draw or go for walk as the sun goes down.

What to bring:
Sketchbook/notebook/clipboard to lean on
(I will bring some blank paper)
Pencil/s or pens
(I will bring some spares)
Water
(Possibly insect repellent)
