See allChristmas is here! Let’s explore the Christmas light trail walk in the city.
We will meet at Elizabeth Quay Train Station at 7:20 pm and depart at 7:30 pm sharp. Sunset is scheduled for 7:10pm on this day.
For this walk, we recommend only portable cameras (eg no tripods). Most people will be using their mobile phone and won’t have the patience for those who do long exposure photography.
The walk is more condensed this year relative to previous years. We will go from Elizabeth Quay, to Barrack Street, Hay and Murray Street and finish at Yagan Square. This will allow us to see all but 3 of the light installations. The last 3 sections are all on James Street in Northbridge.
I will leave this event uncapped for now, but if numbers become bigger I might close it to RSVPs. We had about 10-13 people last year.
Parking is free from 6pm at all CPP parking facilities.

Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Sunset beach walk at Cottesloe BeachGelato Bar, Cottesloe, WA
For this event, we will meet at the front of the Gelato Bar and will be walking up to Swanbourne Beach. Ideally, I would like to walk up on the sand, so please wear thongs or sandals.
On the way back, we will walk along the footpaths. The total walking distance is 4km (2km each way).
Please ensure you are on time for the event. We will only give an allowance of up to 10 minutes for late-comers. I suggest coming to the beach earlier than 5pm to find parking.
Sunset on this day is scheduled at 7:06pm, so we should arrive back at Cottesloe Beach prior to the sun going down.
