Summer Weekday Beach Walk, S. Lincoln Park

This beach along Puget Sound is gorgeous, with great views of the Olympic Mts. and islands to the west, and far enough from traffic that it is a peaceful location. It's predicted to be in the high 60s to lower 70s during this time period.- Sorry about the short notice!

Parking in this location can be challenging, so planning to arrive 15-20 minutes earlier is a good idea. If the parking lot above the beach just north of the Fauntleroy Ferry dock is full, there is parking along the street next to the park further north and also in neighborhoods up the hill. There are also handicapped parking spots at the beach, as well, if you have a permit.

This easy beach walk is dog friendly and they love it. Please note that the address listed is the Coleman Pool address down at the beach, not the parking lot address. The closest parking lot is within view of the Fauntleroy ferry dock, with its entry to the south. Please be sure to bring water, have it with you on the walk, as well as having sunscreen applied. A lunch or snack to bring along would also be good.
