We’re firing up the mics for a fast-paced night of ideas, stories, and “aha!” moments at Signal Not Noise Lightning Talks. Come hang out with Adelaide’s design, product, and agile community, and get a live preview of what’s coming to the Signal Not Noise Conference in May.

You’ll hear 10-minute lightning talks from four fantastic speakers who are in the thick of doing the work:

• Ben McDonnell
  Exploring the human dynamics behind projects — why people don’t always say what they mean and how that impacts delivery.
  Interactive Snakes & Ladders session unpacking stakeholder behaviour, misalignment, and how to navigate it in real time.
• Lucy Bloomfield
  Focused on personal brand clarity and content direction.
  Helping people define what they want to be known for, how they want to show up, and turning that into a clear positioning (not just “posting for the sake of it”).
• Amy Sincock
  Presenting with confidence using performance techniques.
  Practical tools from improv and performance to manage nerves, engage a room, and handle things when they go off-script.

  Designing for real-world accessibility and vulnerable users.
  Covers inclusive design principles, engaging diverse communities, and the human + financial impact of getting accessibility wrong.

After the talks, we’ll open it up for a combined Q&A, then keep the conversations going over networking with friendly folks from Adelaide Design Thinking and Adelaide Agile Community.
