Did you miss the LAST Adelaide Conference in May this year?
Was it sold out when you tried to secure a ticket?
Perhaps, you found out about it too late (like now, today!) or had some other commitments?
Maybe, like me and others who attended, you missed certain sessions because with the four streams running in parallel of leadership, change, teamwork and innovation, you had difficult choices to make about what to attend and miss.
Well, for all of you and more, many of the session leaders have offered to provide an encore and with the following four sessions to be run, sequentially, so you won't miss a thing, they will be abridged versions that run for 15-20 minutes, but still so packed with value and if you ever had a doubt about the world class event that LAST Adelaide is each year and whether to join in 2025 or get over to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra for their editions, this will quash that and make you think about session leading, volunteering, participating and/or supporting.
We will gather from 5.30pm, back at one of our Adelaide homes with supporter escient hosting us at 60 King William St. Refreshments and nourishment provided as always by our partner Encode Talent, from 6pm we will have the four sessions outlined below in succession, within a 20 minute timebox, then at around 7.20pm'ish - a brief Q&A with all the session leaders and close the meetup with an opportunity for some networking, wrapping up between 7.30pm - 8pm at the latest (sometimes there is an 'after party', created in the spirit of self organising teams)
(order and line-up is subject to change, be adaptive is our mantra)

Mike Schwarzer - The Wisdom of Self-Leadership: How to Stay Sane and Impactful in an AI World
In the fast-paced world of Agile, where change is constant and complexity is the norm, we often find ourselves relying on familiar patterns of thought. However, these patterns can prevent us from seeing beyond our limitations and blind us to new possibilities and deeper understanding.
In this session, we’ll explore the need for wisdom and heightened consciousness to not just navigate, but truly thrive in our environments.
We’ll examine how our thinking shapes our reality and how elevating our awareness can unlock deeper insights and innovative thinking. By stepping back and gaining a clearer view of our mental landscape, we open the door to a deeper wisdom that transcends conventional thinking.
We’ll delve into the dynamic interplay between the ego-driven mind and a more profound, intuitive sense of purpose. It’s this deeper mind that offers the creativity, integrity, and compassion necessary to lead with clarity and intention. By cultivating this higher quality of mind, we not only elevate our own consciousness but also create ripples that influence and inspire those around us.
