Meet Time: 9:45 AM | Hike starts promptly at 10:00 AM
After-Hike Social: Maloney’s Pub & Grill (right nearby)
Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours (depending on group pace)
Weather: Perfect 60°F fall hiking day — great for meeting new people and recharging in nature!

About This Event

Ready for something active, social, and refreshing? Join for a fun morning hike through Cheesequake State Park — a beautiful blend of forest, marsh, and lake views. It’s a perfect way to get moving, make new friends, and maybe even meet someone special — all while soaking up the crisp fall air.
After the hike, we’ll head over to Maloney’s Pub & Grill for food, drinks, and casual conversation. You can come for just the hike, just lunch, or both!
This is a no-pressure, no-agenda event — just good company, laughter, and a little adventure.

What to Bring

Comfortable hiking shoes or sneakers
Water and a light snack
Insect repellent
Weather-appropriate clothing (layers are best!)
A positive, open attitude

We’re also looking for volunteer “front” and “back” hikers to help keep the group together — if you’re comfortable leading or sweeping, let us know when you arrive.

Tips

Arrive early — parking fills up fast!
We’ll meet near the Hooks Creek Lake Parking lot sign before starting.
We start walking right at 10:00 AM.
