Let's Hike Duette Preserve!

Join us for this guided hike through Duette Preserve, led by Sarah Denison-Williams, Community Education Manager of Big Waters Land Trust. There are multiple entrances to Duette!!! Please use the pin shared to find us. Also, there will be yard signs placed at the roadside that say "Event" with an arrow.

Duette is the largest preserve in Manatee County at over 21,000 acres and contains the headwaters of Manatee River. There are burrowing owls, snowy egrets, white ibises, gopher tortoises, Florida Scrub Jays, Florida panther, and Eastern indigo snakes.

Please consider bringing lunch for after the hike. This is a social event, please allow enough time to enjoy yourself!
