Special Olympic Kayaking Qualifier w/ The Annapolis Jaycess (Annapolis)

Join us as we partner with the Annapolis Chapter of the Jaycees for a Special Olympic kayaking event. We will be driving up to the Annapolis area in the morning and assisting with setup/breakdown of the course as well as timing participants. We will be driving up with several cars from Arlington so please reach out if you need a ride.

"The Annapolis Jaycees are partnering with the Anne Arundel County Special Olympics kayaking team to host the local Time Trial before the state competition.
Volunteers are needed to help set up the course, stage athletes, and time the events. It is a great opportunity to support local Special Olympic athletes and get out on the water! The event will be held at Arlington Echo Outdoor Education Center at 975 Indian Landing Road, Millersville, MD between 8:00am and noon.
**As you drive through the gate, park in the first parking area you see. Then walk straight down the road until it turns and you see a mess hall type building. Walk along the sidewalk in front of the mess hall and go down the steep set of stairs. You have made it to the kayaking area!"
