Perspective Shift + Watercolors at Art Center Morro Bay
Details
Let's check out two new shows running concurrently at the Morro Bay Art Center!
"A Shift in Perspective" is a collection of works across various art forms, all challenging our assumptions, pushing boundaries of the medium, and inviting us to see from another viewpoint.
"Aquarius" is the Central Coast Watercolor Society's annual juried exhibit. Nationally renowned artist Michael Reardon has selected the very best works to be displayed.
As last time, we'll meet at the coffee shop in the same block to chat and wait for everyone to arrive, and then head to the gallery together.
2pm: meet at Rock Espresso Bar — 275 Morro Bay Blvd, Morro Bay
~2:30pm: head to Art Center Morro Bay — 835 Main Street, Morro Bay
HOMEWORK! Based on my conversations with folks in this group, most are creative, but don't share their work online. I thought it would be fun for us to do a little "show and tell" while we're sipping coffee. So, please take a photo of a couple of your creations to show us (just on your phone), or, if you make small portable objects, you can bring them too — I'll do both! (Of course, no pressure to share if your work is too personal.)

Post-event bonus for those hungry for more than just art: Morro Bay Farmers Market will be operating right outside the art center from 2:30 till 5 pm.
