DEVONPORT Urban Walking Adventure - Mt Victoria & North Head & Tunnels

Hi Everyone.

Greetings...Ni Hao Ma...Kia Ora.

Come along today to do outdoor activities as we walk around Devonport, get up Mt Victoria and later visit North Head with its tunnels...an Historic Reserve and see old historic homes, beaches, parks and reserves, and hidden places...get up a few hills surrounding the coastal area here overlooking the Auckland City, and get Ice Creams at the home of North Shore biggest shop near Cheltenham Beach, completing about a 3 hour walk with lots of time for Chat and Photography.

Today's walking aim is socializing .. we stop lots to pause and chat about the things we see along the way today with your Kiwi Walking Extroverted Guide Big Stephen who's the Founder of Feet First Hiking And Urban Walking Meet Up Group..a very active group still.....he's been bringing people together for outdoor adventures and shared hiking for many years in Auckland.

Because Monday 1st June is a Public Holiday, here's an opportunity to get off the concrete or the couch, meet new people.

We'll Meet Outside the Entrance to the Devonport Ferry Building.

Loads of Free Car Parking here, or get the Ferry Boat over from the CBD.

Meet and Greet is 10.30am
We'll aim to be finished by 3.30pm.

Active Fit Children or Teenagers are Welcome today and orher Adult Guests.

No Dogs or smokers please.

Bring along everything you need to keep yourself happy outdoors and warm. Wear layers to trap the air. I recommend merino or thermal wool. Carry everything you need including lunch and water and snacks in a small backpack or something similar.

Carpooling. If you need a ride or have space for another member in your Car please add a Note below with your Mobile number and Area where you live and contact each other.

Bring a headlight or small torch or just use your mobile phone for the Tunnels in North Head.

We will also visit the home of North Shore biggest Ice Creams in the afternoon near Cheltenham Beach which we will walk along completing a loop of about 6km.
