Train to klong mahasawat and Thai film archives

Details

Thailand offers some of the most intrinsically Thai aspects of its culture – its rural and agricultural traditions and village communities. Thailand is known as a kingdom of farmers, and its rice, flowers and fruit products are recognised all over the world.
This trip we will take the train from Hualumpong to Wat Suwan which lasts for an hour to the nearest agro tourism destination from Bangkok where is the community-based tourism area along Khlong Mahasawat, a famous canal in Nakhon Pathom.
Then we will visit the gac fruit farm at first stop. We can use gac fruit to make a drink, cookie or even soap.
Then the local lotus farms is next. Anyone who spends time in Thailand knows the lotus to be a devotional flower and a symbol of spiritual purity. But lotus flowers have their uses in food and medicine and grow all year round making them a useful crop for local farmers. The local ponds specialise in pink and white blossoms, which are exported around Asia.
The next stop is the village of Ban Saladin, where you can try tasty treats; such as, crispy rice crackers covered in pork as well as salted duck eggs, a local speciality.
The last stop will be Thai film archive museum. It was established in 1984 as the national film archive operating under Fine art department
The ticket for this trip will be 350 THB. This will pay for your guide, visiting entry fees, the train and buses. We will be visiting a small floating market for lunch which reasonable price. This lunch is not included in the ticket price. Any personal shopping at the floating market or at the communities is not included either.
