RUSHTON WOODS/OKEHOCKING PRESERVES, 19073

6-7 miles. Meet at 10:00 a.m. in the paved parking lot at Rushton Woods Preserve, 911 Delchester Road, Newtown Square (39.98283, -75.48676). From Route 3, traveling west, turn right into Delchester Road and follow it almost to where it comes to a T at Goshen Road. The first turnoff into the Preserve is the paved lot. Okehocking and Rushton Woods Preserves provide moderate hiking in a beautiful, varied farmland setting. We will hike 2-3 miles in Rushton Woods, walk along an easement for just over one mile to Okehocking Preserve and hike another 4 miles before returning to Rushton Woods. BATONA Hiking Club is more than a Meetup group. In existence since 1928, the Club welcomes a diverse group of people. Hike trails in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey.
