🔷 This event is cross-posted from New Beginnings Relationship Support. To RSVP, click here: Sunday Morning Hike for Divorced Dads at Sawyer Camp Trail. 🔷
Come join fellow Divorced Dads at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings for a one-hour (3 mile total) hike on Sawyer Camp Trail along stunning Crystal Springs Reservoir! We're a bunch of divorced guys with kids (of all ages).
Rest assured, we're just as flawed and horrible as you (worse, even), and we've all experienced the "divorce hell" you're going through: angry ex-spouses, traumatized kids, shattered dreams, judges and attorneys, the legal process, divorce poison, alienation, work stress, spouse and child support, watching the money disappear, on-line dating, getting your mojo back, and that fantastic, occasional "I-got-out-of-jail" feeling.
You'll feel great afterwards because you got: (a) your butt out of bed; (b) your face out of the fridge; (c) your mouth off the bottle, bong or both; (d) your brain off the TV or Internet; (e) your hand off your privates; (f) three miles of exercise and fresh air; (g) a great start to a brand new day; and (h) a thing or two off your mind.
We'll meet at the south trailhead of Sawyer Camp Trail (Mapquest address: "950 Skyline Boulevard, Burlingame" [NOT Skyline Drive, and NOT Daly City]). Meet by the restrooms inside the gate. We'll start walking promptly at 9:30 (so plan to get there a few minutes early). We'll be done by 10:30.
Note:
(1) Divorced Dads only. No women, no kids, and - sorry - no dogs;
(2) We'll walk rain or shine. 3 miles total (1.5 miles out-and-back);
(3) There's plenty of parking;
(4) There are bathrooms;
(5) Cell phone reception on the trail is spotty;
(6) There are no water fountains; BYO water if you'd like some.Upcoming Hikes are scheduled at this same location:
