✅ $10 at the Front Desk: Check in upon arrival, pay your fee, and grab a wristband — it’s your ticket to 25% off food and beverages at our reserved table in the ballroom (on the 2nd floor) all evening! Check out their menu.
✅ The fun starts at 5 pm. Come to eat, sip, and chat with friends first.
✅ At 6:15 pm, Line Dancing Lisa will kick off the lesson and keep us going until 8 pm (and sometimes a bit later if everyone’s having a blast)!
✅ Everyone is a beginner once — if you’re new to line dancing, this is the perfect opportunity to learn in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
✅ To celebrate your first time, you’ll get one of Lisa’s signature pink bandanas to take home!
✅ We’ve made it easy for everyone to keep track of their food and drinks — separate checks will be available (20% gratuity automatically added), so you can order whatever you like without any confusion at check-out time.🎶 👢So dust off your boots, learn some moves, meet new friends, and get in your steps for the whole week — all while having a blast! 💃🏻🕺

Mazra uses a QR code for ordering—easy and efficient. Everyone orders and pays individually, so no awkward check splitting.🍽️ Menu preview & vibe check:
Expect grilled meats, kebabs, falafel, vibrant salads, wraps, house-made sides, and plenty of vegetarian options. You can get a feel for the menu at eatmazra.com or on Yelp. Mazra does not serve alcohol, but you’re welcome to bring your own wine or beer. A $7 corkage fee per drinking guest applies.🚙 Getting there & parking tips:

Kick back, grill up, and groove with us this Independence Day at a fun-filled, relaxed picnic in the shady West Meadow picnic area of beautiful Huddart Park! Think: tasty BBQ, picnic delights, lawn games, music, and plenty of laughs. 🍔🌭🍉🎶
⚽ Maybe even a friendly soccer or volleyball game for those of us who still have moves (or at least good intentions).
🎤 Nonstop Music plus laid-back Singalong Fun — just us singing our favorite tunes together, with the original song playing in the background (no talent required, just enthusiasm).🧺 It’s a POTLUCK!

No fireworks this year, but honestly… who needs them when we’ve got delicious food, fun games, and amazing New Beginnings friends? 😄 🎉🥾 Want to hit the trails? Come early and enjoy a hike on your own before the picnic kicks off at 1:00 PM. The park has trails for every level—from easy strolls to challenging climbs. You can ask the ranger at the entrance for a free trail map! 🚶🏻🚶🏼♀️

🚗 Getting There & Parking Info:
· There’s parking near the picnic site!
· Entrance fee is $6 per car for the day—cash only.
· We recommend carpooling! Public transportation doesn't reach Huddart Park, but the Park-and-Ride lot off Hwy 92 at Ralston Ave in Belmont is a great meeting spot to ride in together.🚫 A few ground rules from the park:
- No fireworks 🎇 (Really!)
- No dogs 🐶
- 🍺🍷 Beer & wine? Totally allowed! ✅
- And let’s leave the picnic area clean and beautiful—your help with cleanup at the end is truly appreciated! 🧹🗑️❤️
