BTB Biking - Fall Ride - Sandy Creek Trail

Details
Welcome to Beat the Blues Wellness Adventure Community. Please join host Christa and Chris on a fall bike ride on the Sandy Creek trail.
(Note to members: I apologize for the lack of rides planned this summer. I was diagnosed with a Herniated Disc and riding has been difficult for me. I have had a few treatments and am starting to feel better. We are also supporting my son on his HS Football schedule).
This ride is a mostly flat out and back ride and will cover multiple bridges over Sandy Creek and the Allegheny River. This ride looks absolutely stunning, and a preview of the route is here. In the fall, this ride will be epic. There is a railroad tunnel on this ride so please bring a light!
Notes for Ride:
- This ride is a little far - plan on 1.5 hour drive to get there
- Please bring water
- Check bike before leaving
- Wear a helmet please
- Bring a bike light for tunnel
- Most bikes will be acceptable on this ride - Hybrid, Gravel, Mountain. If you have a road bike with skinny tires you might struggle a bit
- Pace is casual and no drop - 10-12 mph.
Beat the Blues is not responsible for any risk involved with this ride.
