Your Hosts
Lucas Cullen has a background in Mathematics from QUT and has been a professional software developer for over 20 years, experienced in a wide range of programming languages and industries including banking. In March 2013 he started this very Bitcoin & Blockchain Brisbane Meetup group with over 3,000 members and growing. Lucas has made contributions to Bitcoin Core and other Ethereum infrastructure projects such as Nethermind, Nethereum, Vyper compiler and EthersJS. He founded DLTx labs, a Brisbane Web3 Venture studio in 2018 who take blockchain ideas to production, but now works on DeFi protocols like Handle.fi, Spool.fi and many more.

Tom Miller, Blockchain Pioneer & Technical Innovator. Tom is a biomedical engineer and digital technology expert with a PhD who has been at the forefront of blockchain adoption in Australia. From being the first Australian employee of ConsenSys to currently developing a ground breaking blockchain platform for online card games, Tom regularly shares his expertise on digital governance systems and emerging technologies. His work focuses on leveraging technological innovation to address global inequality and empower communities through accessible education and digital solutions.

Daniel Tauhore - Daniel is a New Zealand born entrepreneur and CEO/Co-Founder of Tokenise. Daniel has launched multiple projects and tokens. He discovered his passion for blockchain while researching it in 2019 during his tenure in traditional finance. Daniel is passionate about building, launching, and managing projects. He is dedicated to increasing web3 adoption through education and accessibility. His R&D team experimented with onchain game data creation by developing an onchain chess platform. Their latest success, Tokenise, is a platform for token build, launch, and management, offering enterprise clients the benefits of their extensive network and project management expertise.
