The Eldorado Canyon Trail is an excellent trail offering a nice amount of ups and downs, beautiful views of the surrounding rocky mountains and canyon, and great access to South Boulder Creek at the end. Bring sunscreen and lots of water, as over half of it is in the sun. There are several benches in the first half of the route, which has most of the elevation gain. There is also a small waterfall and a few lookout points.
The first 700 feet have alot of elevation gain! Please consider bringing hiking poles.
We will meet at the Eldorado Canyon visitor Centre and walk to the river that we cross when doing the Walker Ranch loop. Then walk back. Plan on bringing a snack or lunch to have at the river.
Hiking is at your own risk we assume no liability.
