Matsuri Brisbane 2026 - Japanese Festival

Event Details:
Join us for a Saturday afternoon at Matsuri Brisbane, one of Brisbane's big celebrations of Japanese culture!
We'll meet at the festival around midday and then head in to explore what's on offer. There'll be plenty to see and do, including Japanese performances, cultural activities and workshops, food and drink stalls, crafts, and all sorts of other things to discover throughout the festival.
This is a relaxed, go-with-the-flow meetup rather than a fixed itinerary — we'll wander around together and see what catches our interest on the day. We'll also stop for food or a break somewhere along the way when it feels like a good time to do so.

Running late or can't find us?
If you're arriving late or get separated from the group, check the comments on this meetup. I'll leave an update there with our current location whenever we've moved on or stopped somewhere for food/a break.
The exact location of any food or rest stop will be decided on the day, depending on what's happening at the festival and how everyone is going.

Please note - if you register for a ticket via the website (free) it will say 10am - that's just the standard time (you can't select another) tickets should be valid all day - our meetup starts at 12pm.
