Leading into slightly cooler months of Brisbane, pencilling in some walks. This will be a relaxed walk through the Botanic Gardens, Southbank then optional beverage and food afterward if people are up for it.
Noting that this is not a full on exercise group, vibe is more relaxed pace and a chat (not a sprint). So for that reason its beginner friendly.
Start Time: 10am
Meeting point: City Botanic Gardens – Albert Street entrance
Duration: ~60–90 mins, relaxed social pace
Additional info: wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking, and bring money if you'd like to purchase food/drink afterward.

2. Goodwill Bridge crossing Easy transition into South Bank.
3. South Bank river walk (20–30 mins) Flat riverside with optional detours through parklands or shaded internal paths.
End point we'll choose on the day, either:
Option A – Group coffee at a South Bank café
Option B – End at Cultural Centre Busway Station or South Bank Station for easy connections.
Personal disclaimer:
I've run a number of meetups in the past (in Sydney) and attended many more (all over the world), and I have learned it best not to give anyone my phone number straight away. If you need help or are lost on the day, please use the comments section or send me a message using the meetup app. Also, I expect a level of common sense and independence of those attending these events. While I definitely want to be welcoming and help foster conversation, I won't be baby sitting anyone. At the end of the day, you need to be responsible for yourself - it's just a common courtesy so that everyone can have a good time. Thanks!
