Bolton Bridge Simons Seat and Hebden:

This is a scenic and varied walk which starts along the banks of the river Wharfe .The first point of interest is the remains of Bolton Priory . Then its along the Dales Way and through the Valley of Desolation ,noting the pretty water falls on the way . From here its onto the open Moor of Barden Fell which will hopefully be covered in purple heather .The high point in the Distance is Simons Seat where panoramic views can be enjoyed .From here it's a steep descent to High Skyreholme and the through the rocky ravine of Trollers Gill .Disused mine workings and caves can be seen here .The descent continues and the route crosses the scenic Bolton Bridge before going along the side of the river Wharfe once again .The route then crosses the suspension bridge and continues along a path into Hebden where the walk finishes .

Cracoe to Grassington .

Ascent 1427 ft
Descent 1449ft
We disembark the coach at the Devenshire Arms in Cracoe .
We pick up a track and start our Ascent up Cracoe Fell to the war memorial /Obelisk .Its a steep track but we will take on at a slow ,steady pace .
The ascent is then more or less done with .
Tracks are then picked up to take us to the village of Thorpe .Hopefully good views will be had of the magnificent limestone Knoll of Ebolton.The route then takes us to Hebden Suspension Bridge or for those daft enough the stepping stones following into the village of Hebden .We then pick up a path and follow it all the way into Grassington , where there is a greater choice of relaxation after the walk ,if people want to finish in Hebden they are more than welcome to do so and wait for the A party .

C Walk ( easier )
Threshfield to Grassington

Distance 6.7 miles
Ascent 670ft taken gradually
We get off the coach on the B6265 just before Threshfield and go up Well Lane to the village of Linton .We then proceed through more fields to Thorpe Lane and then into Thorpe . We then go through more fields down to Burnsall , From Burnsall Bridge we follow the river Wharfe on the Dalesway , crossing the suspension bridge we will take time to look at the spectacular Linton falls before heading up Sedber Lane to Grassington and the end of the walk .
D Option
Spend the day in Grassington .
Do your own walk ( Grassington to Linton Falls is a nice short walk ) or just explore Grassington / spend time have lunch in the many cafes or pubs look round the many independent shops Grassington as to offer its up to you before catching the Coach at 18-00 to return home .
