What we’re about
Greetings! Bridge is a classic bidding and trick-taking card game that is played with a partner to outsmart the opponents! The purpose of this group is to introduce you to the game to see if you want to come back and play some more. The journey begins by learning and playing the game of Short~Bridge, a 7-card version of Bridge which introduces fundamentals in a game that moves quickly. Players are dealt only 7 cards per hand so that even with instruction, you will play lots of hands during the evening.

Short-Bridge is the first step in the series, and the “shortest way to start playing Bridge.” Once you've mastered Short~Bridge (usually after 2-3 sessions), you can "bridge" the gap to classic Bridge with 4 more training sessions designed to help you confidently transition.

Lessons / game play will be held at Northwood Cider Company from 6:30-8:30ish on future Tuesday evenings.
