Short~Bridge Starter Game Night

Please join us for the free social activity, "Short~Bridge Starter Game Night". Short~Bridge is a bidding and trick-taking card game which introduces Bridge concepts in a game that moves quickly. No experience is necessary as we will start at the very beginning with instruction on basic card suits and how to take tricks. Topics will also include the bidding auction, the opening lead, and scoring. The instructor-led presentation material is followed by game play. Players are dealt only 7 cards per hand so that even with instruction, players will deal and play lots of hands during the evening.

In addition to being a fun, fast-paced card game, Short~Bridge is also useful as a starting point to learn the classic game of Bridge. Hopefully, we'll prove it's "the shortest way to start playing Bridge!" Please note - this session is for new Short~Bridge players only, and it's only necessary to register for (1) Starter Game Night. Additional Short~Bridge and classic Bridge lessons will be organized separated with enough player interest.

The event is held at a great little pub in Mt. Adams called World Glass Bar. Space is limited, and since it's a bar, everyone must be 21 or older. Sorry, no food is served - yet, you can bring your own if desired.
