Urban Farm Volunteer Day: Ginkgo Organic Gardens in Uptown

Join us as we kick off our volunteer season with Ginkgo Organic Gardens to support their growing season and help feed our neighbors in need. We’ll have several volunteer days with Ginkgo this spring and summer, so come out and get to know the team!

NOTE: Please bring water and close-toed shoes. All equipment will be provided on-site.

Ginkgo Organic Gardens is a community pantry garden in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. They employ sustainable agricultural practices to grow heirloom varieties of fruits and vegetables. They donate their produce to organizations that serve people who struggle with poverty and illness.

Through volunteer work days, Ginkgo provides opportunities for individuals and groups to contribute to the organization’s mission of being stewards of the land while serving others with high-quality food.
