I am getting a bit stir crazy so it will great to get out of the house!

MOVIE
Meet before in the lobby before (optional) and after near the red chairs

9:45 AFTERWARDS
We have two choices (or neither if people want to go home)

* Palette Lounge is in the Glidden house. 5 minute drive. There is probably plenty of parking spaces nearby.
* Tavern of Little Italy. We can walk 5 minutes. It has food.

DESCRIPTION
A jaded cop (played with controlled fury by Chow Yun-fat), who loses his partner in a shoot-out with gun smugglers, goes on a mission to catch them. In order to get closer to the leaders of the ring, he joins forces with an undercover cop who’s working as a gangster hitman. More than a cops-and-bad-guys story, Hard Boiled continually startles with its originality and dark humor. John Woo‘s landmark 1992 action spectacle had long been unavailable due to rights issues.

A 15 minute pre-recorded interview with John Woo and Jim Branscome follows the screening.

REVIEW
“This Hong Kong cop classic has sat near the top of every "best action movie" list since its release in 1992 and for good reason: it's a total thrill."
