FALN (1965) a zoom meetup
·OnlineOnlineI am not sure if I have an audience for this type of thing, but It's worth a try. This is a short 30 minute film about Venezuela in 1965. Your welcome to agree with it or disagree with it and have your point of view. I host films like this so we can look at the past and understand what is happening in the world today. In 1965 Venezuela is a country rich in oil but the people are very poor and mostly own nothing. The USA compaines control the oil with the oligarchy in Venezuela. The FALN is form with the help of Cuba as a people's army to take control over the nation's oil wealth. . If the Venezuela people can control oil supply that would change the social condition for the majority of the people. We will look at this film with the context of what is now happening in the world in 2026. The film is free to watch on You Tube. Watch it in your free time and we will discuss it on zoom.
