Free Introductory Mahjong Lessons sponsored by Bench Warmers in Downtown Decatur. Pick your date to join us to learn this ancient but very popular game!

We've had an overwhelming response from people eager to learn Mahjong, including many newcomers and friend groups wanting to learn together!

Whether you're clueless and just curious about this classic game, or ready to jump in and learn you will enjoy this event. Connect with members of the 30+community in Decatur while enjoying a game that blends strategy, skill, and a bit of luck. MahJong is a great way to socialize, relax, and challenge your mind.

We are excited to announce that our Downtown Decatur Mahjong Social Club will be hosting beginner Mahjong lessons on:
1 Intro Lesson per Person so please pick your date.
June 21 Saturday 4 to 6pm
July 10. Thursday 630 to 830P
August 20 Weds 630 to 830P

**After your Intro lesson if you are curious and excited to continue to really learn how to play please sign up for our Quarterly Lesson Series below:
Join us for three weeks in June and July to learn the basics of American Mahjong.
Registration in advance is required. Limited to 16 students, no new students after the first class.
Lessons will take place on Sundays:

June 29
July 6
Arrive as early as 11:30am to enjoy brunch at Cafe Lily (not included) in the main dining room, and lessons will run from 12:30 - 3pm, on the dates noted above in their private room.
Please note: street parking is FREE all day Sunday!
$75 for the series of 3 lessons!
No makeup lessons, must be able to attend all 3 lessons in the series.
