We're passionate about building and understanding Decentralized Technologies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Scuttlebutt, IPFS, DeFi, Mastodon etc. This group is for meeting others to talk about these technologies, how they work, their impact on the world, possible implications and downsides to their widespread use.
This group is tech, game theory, economics focused. Decentralized Finance (DeFi) is exciting and we're happy to talk about liquidity pools, exchanges, and different technologies.
However this group is NOT for discussing the price of Cryptocurrencies or Cryptocurrency Trading. If you're looking to shill a coin or talk about gains on coins please do not join.
Initial events are for having a drink and casually talking about any of the above topics with other members. In the future we may have speakers and a more formal structure.
