3:00 PM: š¤ Speaker Henry Lim: Hands-on with Agent Development Kit (ADK): The Garden of the Forgotten Prompt
Get hands-on with Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), Googleās framework for building, evaluating, and deploying AI agents.
You'll progressively learn to design advanced agents and train them to play the text-based adventure game āThe Garden of the Forgotten Promptā.
Get ready to explore a mysterious world, solve puzzles, and uncover secrets!
3:30 PM: š¤ Speaker Akshata Mohanty: Building a distributed multi-agent system with Google Cloud
We use this codelab to learn about building multi-agent systems with Google ADK.
Through creating a set of specialized agents that collaborate to solve a complex task, participants will learn about concepts such as subagents, remote agents and orchestration agents.
This is a hands-on workshop where we build a Course Creation System composed of a Researcher Agent (gathers information via Google Search), a Judge Agent (evaluates research quality), a Content Builder Agent (turns research into a structured course), and an Orchestrator Agent that coordinates the workflow between them.
4:15 PM: š ļø Workshop with Tarun R. Jain: Architecting Relationship-Aware Memory for AI Agents
Most developers building AI Agents focus on reasoning and planning but quietly ignore what matters most: Memory. This session begins by drawing a clear distinction between stateful and stateless agents, using OpenClaw or Clawbot as motivation for what becomes possible when an agent truly remembers, and highlighting what is broken in the current approach.
From there, I will highlight why vector search alone breaks down when your Agent needs to chain facts together or track how information changes over time, and how knowledge graphs solve that in ways that retrieval simply cannot.
In this workshop, I will showcase how memory works in the backend, including a live visualization of fact extraction and graph construction in working code. The primary focus will be on edge cases, especially the hybrid vector graph approach, where semantic search and structured traversal are combined to handle multi-hop reasoning and temporal changes.
For demo, we will use Streamlit for UI, Cognee as the Memory layer, Qdrant as the Vector Store, and Google ADK for the Agents implementation
5:00 PM: šļø Hacking Sprint with Mentorship: Tarun R. Jain
"The Big Vibe." 2 hours of high-velocity coding.
AI Agents are built for Local Impact.
7:00 PM: The Showcase
"Hard Demos Only." No slides. Teams run CLI commands or live agents to demonstrate the Local Impact.
