Event Host Instagram: Cozy PandaHey, all! If you've never been to a Paint & Sip, they're always a good time, regardless of your skill level (I suck at painting, but I'm great at...consuming beverages and not caring about the quality of my painting.)
Fortnight is a British-themed pub/brewery in Cary, near-ish Crossroads, on Maynard Road. They have weekly Pottery Paint & Sip, and the weekday changes each month. May's regular day is Wednesday. The paint & sip event runs from 6:00 - 8:00.
The food truck scheduled for that night is Cousins Maine Lobster/Seafood, and it will be present from 5:00 - 9:00. There's no RSVP or ticket: you choose your pottery on arrival and you pay based on the pot you choose (different prices for different sizes.) According to the host, Caroline at Cozy Panda, the prices range from $11-$35, and all the pottery/painting supplies are included (we probably have to buy our own beer at the bar.)
Even if it isn't your first day of summer vacation (hint hint), come on out and paint your stress away!
PRE-PAID OPTION: $30-ish (reserve a larger ceramic)
This link takes you to tickets for the more expensive ceramic options. The larger pots go quickly, so you can reserve one in advance. They have plenty of the smaller pots, so you can pay on arrival. I plan to do a smaller pot, as it's my first time and idk how big the $30 ceramic is. - Hell Yes, Ma'am - It's Pride @ Raleigh Brewing!Raleigh Brewing Company, Raleigh, NC

TIME: 12:00 - 6:00 PM
LOCATION: Raleigh Brewing, Neil Street (near Meredith College and Hillsborough Street)It's almost time for RB's annual Pride festival!
This is an amazing annual event featuring new beer releases, drag shows, music, food trucks, and the best sin of all: Pride! The festival itself goes from noon til 6:00. I'll probably be there at noon, and stay for a few hours (if I can handle it, I'll stay past 2:00 p.m.) Feel free to join me, or use this event page to coordinate with other members!

Tickets: $51.75***
*It's more expensive than it's been in the past, but it's well worth the cost.NC Hops Fest, hosted by Brewgaloo, is an early summer beer tasting event. If you've been to Brewgaloo, it's similar (but better in my opinion.) Your flat rate ticket gets you unlimited samples (like the Friday night Brewgaloo event, but unlike the Saturday event.) NC Hops Fest lasts longer and is usually calmer than Brewgaloo, as well.
They'll have live music, food trucks, local vendors, and, of course, local beverage samples galore. It's a great way to discover or test out a lot of local breweries in one day, in one place. The link above has a list (ever-growing) of businesses that'll be present, in case you see one you've been curious to visit.
You get a commemorative shot glass for your samples, too!
TIMING:
The event is from 12:00 - 5:00.
I plan to arrive by 12:00 and probably stay ~2 hours.
I won't be able to handle 5 hours, and it's not an event that takes 5 hours to experience. I'm setting this event as 12:00 - 5:00 in case people would like to arrive at different times and use this page to coordinate.
