Join us for a 12km out-and-back hike following trails along the Yarra River in Warrandyte. The hike will be followed by Christmas lunch at the StoneHouse cafe (still to be booked).

Please do not RSVP to any Eastern Hiking & Adventure event unless you are fully committed to attending. It is your responsibility to check the date, distance, and difficulty of the walk before RSVPing. Members who frequently withdraw at the last minute, fail to show up, arrive without being on the "going" list, or behave disrespectfully towards leaders or fellow members will be asked to leave the walk and may be removed from the group. All leaders are unpaid volunteers who invest a great deal of their own time to plan and research each walk. Their efforts deserve respect and consideration. Organisers do their best to minimize waitlists where possible, and priority will be given to reliable members who attend regularly and contribute positively to the group experience

Fitness Level
A good level of fitness and the ability to maintain a good steady pace is required to complete this hike.
What to bring:
- 2 litres of water
- snacks
- proper hiking boots/shoes
- rain/wind/sun protection clothing and SPF50 sunscreen
- personal first aid kit
