Join me for a moderate 22 km hike through Warrandyte State Park. Starting from the Wittons Reserve carpark in Wonga Park, we’ll begin with a short circuit around Mount Lofty before following scenic tracks alongside the Yarra River back toward our starting point.

The walk then continues deeper into Warrandyte State Park, with occasional glimpses of the river along the way. We’ll head towards the Stane Brae area for a well-earned lunch break, which marks the turning point of the hike. From there, the second section is an out-and-back track returning to the carpark.

The tracks are mainly on wide vehicle trails, interspersed with single-file sections that are undulating, with a few short, steep uphill and downhill pushes along the way.

Meeting place
We will meet at the Wittons Reserve carpark.
Please arrive early to commence walking at 9am sharp.

Please do not RSVP to any Eastern Hiking & Adventure event unless you are fully committed to attending. It is your responsibility to check the date, distance, and difficulty of the walk before RSVPing. Members who frequently withdraw at the last minute, fail to show up, arrive without being on the "going" list, or behave disrespectfully towards leaders or fellow members will be asked to leave the walk and may be removed from the group. All leaders are unpaid volunteers who invest a great deal of their own time to plan and research each walk. Their efforts deserve respect and consideration. Organisers do their best to minimise waitlists where possible, and priority will be given to reliable members who attend regularly and contribute positively to the group experience.
