Brisbane Festival - St Lucia Serenades

Brisbane Festival is coming in September with a few fun sounding free events. This one sounds really good and relaxing, so long as the weather is good on the day. St Lucia Serenades is an outdoor concert that goes from 4pm-7pm (as far as I can tell by the website). Idea of meetup is very simple - come along with a picnic rug plus any drinks and snacks you would like, enjoy the music and have a chat.

In terms of alcohol I’ll leave that up to your discretion. I will not be taking any personal responsibility or liability for anyone consuming BYO alcohol in a public place. The onus will be on you if you want to take that risk.

Meeting point: I will get there early and post location on the day, letting you know what I’m wearing and try to pick an obvious landmark so you can find me.
Start time: 3:45pm to get a nice spot on the grass for a 4pm start time
What to bring: picnic rug, snacks, comfortable clothing and money for whatever you’d like to purchase
End time: 7:00pm approx. depending on how much fun we are having
