Two quick questions: how do you write a number most efficiently? And how do you make sure you read a measurement correctly?

This talk will discuss two somewhat esoteric and vaguely related topics, with reference to the Fibonacci series, digital calipers, and binary. It's a discussion of the joy of algorithms, the interesting uses of information theory, the art of lying, and sometimes practical applications. There may be Python involved.
