Maroubra Beach to Yarra Bay

This walk starts at Museum Station, Liverpool St, Stand A where we catch the 8:33am 396 bus to Maroubra Beach arriving at 9:11am. (Maroubra Beach, Marine Pde).

From Maroubra Beach, we follow the coast through Malabar Headland National Park past Magic Point and Boora Point to Malabar Beach. We will then sidle Randwick Golf Course, pass Buchan Point to Little Bay Beach. Next we will sidle St. Michael's Golf Club to Cape Banks. After passing Cruwee Cove Beach, we sidle New South Wales Golf Club past Henry Head Lighthouse to Congwong Beach and then onto La Perouse. Finally we head along Frenchmans Beach to Yarra Bay Sailing Club for lunch and/or refreshments.

After lunch we head back to La Perouse for a bus to the city.

Start Location: 8:30am Museum Station, Liverpool St, Stand A. We will catch the 8:33am 396 bus to Maroubra Beach arriving at 9:11am.

Distance: 18Km
Terrain: Sealed pathways, boardwalks and bush tracks
Time: Around 5-6 hrs

WHAT TO BRING. Please bring 1-2 litres of water, a raincoat if it looks like rain and of course your happy and cheerful disposition.
