About us
The "Enjoy Cornwall” Meetup group is a social group welcoming all over 50’s. We plan a variety of events like regular walks, cinema, meals, music and much more! It is a great way to meet like-minded people and make new friends.
Meet Up charges us admin fees, so there is a Membership fee of £12 a year to cover costs. This gives you unlimited access to activities.( Bank details for payment will be direct messaged to you on joining)

Breakfast at Polgooth Inn followed by a walk along the lanes around Polgooth
Polgooth Inn, Ricketts Lane, St Austell, PL26 7DA, St Austell, GBMeet for breakfast at 9.30. Table booked for 8 people. After breakfast we will take a easy to moderate walk of about 3 miles in the local area, weather permitting. No deposit required.

HISTORY TOUR OF BOCONNOC HOUSE WITH CREAM TEA
Boconnoc Estate, Boconnoc, Lostwithiel PL22 0RG,, Cornwall, GBThis is a ticketed tour, book at Boconnoc Events booking £27 per person. Make sure you select 4th Nov House tour with cream tea. Tour starts at 2pm so please arrive in time to park etc.
Take a tour of Boconnoc House and grounds and learn about the architecture, paintings, and people that tell the story of its past.
Guests will also visit the 800-year-old church and Georgian Bath House.Following the history tour of Boconnoc House guests will be treated to a delicious Cornish Cream Tea in the Garden Room.
Boconnoc House won the HHA/Sotheby’s Award for Restoration in 2012, three prime ministers, a history of duels and the architect Sir John Soane play a part in the story of this unique estate.

A circular walk from Porthtowan, along the coast, valleys and woodland, passing engine houses and other relics of Cornish copper mining. The walk is moderate although there is quite a steep climb up to the coast path. 4.7 miles with no stiles. We will stop at The Unicorn pub at the end of the walk for refreshments if it's open ( currently closed) or the café
over by the beach as an option.
