This is not a physical meetup on this date.

This is a summer festival buddy board for people in Lisbon and Portugal who want to find others going to the same festivals.

Bought a ticket to a summer festival but don’t want to go alone?

RSVP here to join the WhatsApp group, then post which festival you’re going to: Rock in Rio, NOS Alive, MEO Kalorama, Sumol Summer Fest, Afro Nation, Paredes de Coura, Primavera Sound Porto, or any other summer event.

You can use the group to find people to go with, meet before the festival, share transport, plan pre-drinks, or create smaller chats for specific dates and artists.

There will be no official meeting at the time/date shown on Meetup. The Meetup page is only used to help people discover the community and join the WhatsApp group.

This time our theme is Big “What If” Questions — impossible scenarios, alternative lives, strange choices, and questions that make you think, laugh, and sometimes completely change your mind halfway through the conversation.

We’ll talk about what we would do if we won the lottery, lived in another historical period, moved to a different country forever, or could know one thing about the future.

This edition will be a picnic in the park, so please come prepared: bring a blanket or something to sit on, your own food and drinks, and be ready to sit on the grass.

Instead of tables, we’ll have separate language groups sitting in different spots in the park. Join the group for the language you want to practise, use the conversation questions, and enjoy a relaxed outdoor exchange.

At Speak & Sip, we do things a little differently. There’s structure — but the atmosphere is still relaxed: social, friendly, and focused on actually improving our language skills.
