Welcome to Explore Melbourne - one of the largest meetup groups in Melbourne and Australia.
Our group is for anyone interested in exploring the wonderful city of Melbourne and surrounds together. We run a combination of Free and Paid events. We have organized over 3000 events since September 2016.

To keep things safe, fun, and positive, we have 8 simple rules for people attending our events. We know these group rules won’t suit everybody, and that’s okay—there are many other groups where you might feel more at home. Over the past 9 years, we’ve removed 342 people for breaking them—so please read carefully!

🚗 No carpooling – For safety reasons and insurance coverage, we don’t allow carpooling or ride-sharing through the group.

Merri Creek Trail Walk: Fitzroy North to Coburg [8km - 10,000+ steps]
Join us for the Merri Creek Trail Walk: Fitzroy North to Coburg (8km, 10,000+ steps). The route includes some hidden gems and a great array of birdlife — the result of many years of replanting indigenous vegetation. The trail follows the creek closely for most of the walk.
Please follow these two steps to confirm your spot:
Step 1: Please RSVP to this event on meetup.
Step 2: Please pay the Organizer fee ($10 - Early Bird, $15 - Regular) using Trybooking:

Payments are managed via Trybooking and not meetup. Your meetup status will be shown UNPAID. All you need is a Trybooking ticket which you will receive by email.
Trybooking tickets will be scanned at the meeting point. Please note that the ticket will be only refunded if the event is moved or cancelled. There are no refunds. It's also not possible to change the ticket to a new date.
Meeting Point: Let's meet infront of TimeOut Federation Square at 9:50 AM. Please remember to bring your myki. You will need atleast $4 on your myki or have myki pass. Please make sure you add the money before coming to the meeting point. We should be back in the city around 2:30 pm.
