About: Let's go aurora hunting in Victoria. With any Aurora Hunting events, the chance of spotting an Aurora is less than 5% as there are many factors involved. I will take one solo photo for everyone with the stars.

We are heading to Wilsons Prom, the southernmost tip of mainland Australia. We will be visiting The Big Drift (massive sand dunes), Whisky Beach (Epic boulders), Picnic Bay and Whisky Bay Lookout, Squeaky Beach, and walk from Tidal River to Squeaky Beach.

Tentative list of locations we will be visiting:

• The Big Drift - Landscape of massive sand dunes that tower over coastal woodland. This is the kind of place where it’s very likely that the only footprints in the sand will be your own. 4km return walk.
• Whisky Beach - One of the most beautiful places in Victoria. Epic boulders line the beach at Whisky Bay. Photographers delight!
• Picnic Bay and Whisky Bay Lookout - Spectacular imagery of Whisky Bay and Picnic Bay, twin lookout points that offer unobstructed views of the turquoise water, crashing waves and untouched stretches of beach below.
• Squeaky Beach - The famous white sand of Squeaky Beach is so named because of the noise it makes when you stroll along it.
• Tidal River
• Tidal River to Squeaky Beach Walk (3.5 km walk). You will have 80 minutes to do this walk. If you are not sure to complete this within 80 minutes, please stay on the bus to be taken to Squeaky Beach.

The Milky Way Galaxy is one of the most interesting naked eye sights in the night sky. We live under light-polluted skies, and to see a glimpse of the Milkyway, we need to travel outside the city. We run Milkyway events near Melbourne (40-50km away) and events in premium locations (over 80-100km from Melbourne CBD). We will mention premium events on the title of the event. Please only attend this event if you can keep the location a secret.
