For nearly five years, the Docklands skyline has been missing its brightest landmark. That ends this Thursday.

Meeting Point: Let's meet at the Corner of Spencer Street and Bourke Street (Station Side - Near the steps) at 5:50 PM and then walk to District Docklands. Please don't be late. Unfortunately, joining us will not be possible once we leave the meeting point.

On Thursday 30 July, the Melbourne Star flickers back to life at The District Docklands — and it's not doing it quietly. The switch-on brings fireworks over the water and the Star's first full-lighting animation sequence in years.
It's free, and after half a decade in the dark, the first light-up only happens once.
